Rev. Dr. Huberto Pimentel

On
Saturday December 11, 2005, the Pastoral Commission
for Hispanic Ministries, upon recommendation by
the Hispanic Caucus, appointed the Rev.
Dr. Huberto Pimentel as the new National Pastor
for Hispanic Ministries. Rev. Pimentel is a native of Puerto Rico, where he received
a degree in Electrical Engineering and completed his Masters
of Divinity studies at the Evangelical Seminary of Puerto Rico.
Later on, he obtained a Doctor in Ministry degree from Eastern
Baptist Theological Seminary (now Palmer Theological Seminary)
in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with a concentration in Marriage and
Family. He holds 25 years of pastoral experience,
both in Puerto Rico and in the United States. He is married to Arlene
Pimentel, Past Vice President of the International Christian
Women’s
Fellowship, and has three children, Karelys (29) and her
husband Seth Baruffi, Eliel (27) and his wife Laura, Karlene (24) and one grandson,
Marco Eliel Baruffi (2). Rev. Pimentel enjoys photography, reading, traveling and spending time with his family.
Update: The
Assembly has voted for and commissioned the Rev. Huberto Pimentel
as of July 16, 2006. We gloryify our Lord Jesus Christ for his
appointment.

Marie Robles

Sra. Hilda M. Robles es la Administradora Asociada de la Oficina
Pastoral Central para Ministerios Hispanos (CPOHM). Hilda es la
esposa de Samuel Robles Jr., quien estudia en el Seminario Teológico
Cristiano. Hilda ha sido miembro de congregaciones discípulos toda su
vida. Llegó a Indianapolis de la Primera Iglesia Cristiana
(Discípulos de Cristo) de Orlando en Orlando, FL. donde sirvió como miembro del ministerio de adoración por 10 años y ambos sirvieron como coordinadores del ministerio
con la juventud y como fundadores de la Librería Cristiana
Sabiduría Celestial.
Hilda
estudió en la Universidad de la Florida Central, graduándose
con un Bachillerato en Artes en Comunicaciones con concentración
en Radio y Televisión. Actualmente desde el otoño del 2005, esta estudiando en el Seminario Teológico Cristiano (CTS) la Maestría en Ministerios Especializados-Educación Cristiana.
Hilda comenzó sus labores como Administradora Asociada
en enero del 2005. Disfruta cantar, viajar, y compartir con su familia.
Mrs.
Hilda M. Robles is the Administrative Associate of the Central Pastoral
Office for Hispanic Ministries. Hilda is married to Samuel Robles
Jr., a student at Christian Theological Seminary. A lifelong Disciple, she came to
Indianapolis from Primera Iglesia Cristiana (Discípulos de Cristo)
de Orlando in Orlando, FL where she served 10 years in the Praise and Worship Ministry. At her home church, Hilda and Samuel
were the youth ministry coordinators and were the founders of Heaven's
Wisdom Christian Bookstore.
Hilda
is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, where she obtained
a B.A. in Communications with a concentration in Radio/TV. She is currently studying at Christian Theological Seminary (CTS) the Masters in Specialized Ministry-Christian Education since the Fall of 2005.
Mrs.
Robles serves as CPOHM's Administrative Associate since January
2005. She enjoys singing, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Lucas Torres
Lucas
Torres es ministro ordenado de los Discípulos de Cristo. Ha
pastoreado numerosas congregaciones en su
nativo Puerto Rico, en el Bronx, New York,
y en Orlando, Florida. Obtuvo su preparación
académica y teológica en la Universidad Interamericana
de Puerto Rico, y en el Seminario Evangelico
de Puerto Rico. En el 1996 el "Christian Theological Seminary" le
otorgó el grado
de Doctor en Divinas Letras Honoris Causa.
Después de servir
durante siete años como Pastor Nacional para Ministerios Hispanos,
se acogió a jubilación a fines del 1999. En el 2006,
recibió el honor de Pastor Nacional Emérito
de la Obra Hispana en la 13ma Asamblea Nacional
Hispana y Bilingüe en Killeen, TX.
Lucas
Torres is an ordained minister of the Christian
Church (Disciples of Christ). He has pastored
numerous congregations in his native, Puerto
Rico, Bronx, New York, and in Orlando,
Florida. He obtained his education and
seminary studies at the Interamericana
University of Puerto Rico and at the Evangelical
Seminary of Puerto Rico. In 1996, Christian
Theological Seminary awarded Rev. Torres
with an Honarary Doctorate in Letras Divinas.
After having served 7 years as National
Pastor for Hispanic Ministries, he retired
in 1999. In 2006, he received the honor
of National Pastor Emeritus for Hispanic
Ministries during the 13th National Hispanic
and Bilingual Assembly in Killeen, TX.
